2024 Wedding Trends We Love

I cannot even start to express how excited I am to write a post on the upcoming 2024 wedding trends! I have been researching this for weeks and OMG, I am here for all of it!

A few of these trends started building momentum during 2023, but they aren't stopping there. These wedding details are going to be HUGE well into 2024 and beyond!

Bows

On your dress, your stationery, your table settings, in your hair. Bows are going to be EVERYWHERE in 2024! Such a pretty detail but yet so, so simple.

Wedding Content Creators

Now of course we had to mention this. But 2023 saw this trend really emerging and it is going to be massive in 2024. Audio Guestbooks

We absolutely LOVE this idea. Instead of the traditional guestbook why not hire an audio guestbook? Your guests can leave you messages or reminisce over past memories and you can listen to it for years to come.

Champagne Towers

Champagne towers started to make a mark in the wedding industry in 2023, but is set to become an even bigger trend in 2024. They look impressive, and make great photo opportunities. Personally I think we would prefer this over a wedding cake!

Dress Changes

This trend has been around for a long while, but it is predicted to become even more common throughout 2024. We absolutely love the idea of a dress change ready for the reception. You can choose something a little less heavy but still beautiful, ready to party the night away.

Pearls

A bit like the bow trend, pearls will be everywhere! There are so many ways to use them, from your shoes to your wedding stationery, to décor and everything in between!

Statement Veils

You're either a veil person or you're not. If you are, expect to see designs that are extravagant and fancy!

Bright Colour Schemes

For many people when it comes to choosing colours for their wedding, it is so easy to go with soft, romantic colours but we are loving the idea of a bold and bright colour scheme! Smaller & Alternative Cakes

We talked about alternative wedding cake ideas a couple of days ago, and this upcoming trend was one of them. Couples are going for smaller, less extravagant cakes this year. Ideal for the couple that just isn't into cake (yes, they do exist!) but still want to do the traditional cake cutting.

Flash Photography

This style of photography is becoming more and more popular with couples. Still giving amazing quality images but with a less polished look to it. Perfect for the evening once the natural light has gone.
